Digital Marketing: opens broader path then traditional marketing system

Digital Marketing simply means marketing any product, services or ideas digitally through Internet, mobile devices, social media, search engines and other channels to reach consumers. Success of any product or service depends on its marketing. As Robert T. Kiyosaki (author of the book “Rich dad poor dad”) said that I have read some books which were literally excellent from mine, but still I am the best-selling author because of my marketing. The question arises how do we do that? Those times are gone now where companies used to hire celebrities and run their ads on Televisions or newspapers. Because now both television and newspaper are available on our systems either mobile phones or PC/desktop. This is an internet era and in this era you can approach your maximum consumers only through internet.

Investment and cost is really a burden to start any business. Digital marketing allows you to start with less marketing investment then traditional marketing. Startups like Oyo and Uber started in this way only and the rest is history.

 On this type of internet platforms, you can target your audience and can reach out to them easily. This saves your time and money which you can invest on upgrading your product, services or ideas. . It also allows customer segmentation. Segmentation is a process in which large customer groups are further divided into small ones. It increases the chance of sales, as well as cut down the cost.

      Apart from this, it allows regular engagement with your audience. You can answer customer’s questions, communicate easily, resolve misconceptions, and know their changing demands through digital platforms, which is very essential to maintain a constant traffic or rise it.

 You can easily measure your ad’s efficiency, its reach and response through different analytic tools provided by digital platforms. For example: Google Analytics is a very effective tool for measuring specific goals. Google Ad-words manager allow users to monitor the performance of their ads

 Traditional marketing needs time like weeks or months to reach out maximum audience. On the other hand it is far better in digital marketing to spread your ideas, where one single marketer have thousands of connections


Global platform

 Digital marketing allows you to advertise your ideas in international market. Suppose if you are just a solopreneur, still you can simply jump to the international market with your skills through marketing yourself digitally. This global market will definitely give you more opportunities then the local market so that you can raise your firm.
